The Sovereign Sapphire
Thirteen carats of Royal Blue Sapphire, Emerald-cut, set in Platinum. There is a geometry to this ring that feels almost architectural — the stone so precisely proportioned, the setting so deliberately unadorned, that the effect is less jewellery and more structure.
The stone is laboratory-grown, which is precisely why it achieves this. Freed from the inconsistencies of mining, it reaches a depth and evenness of colour that would be extraordinarily rare to source from the earth at this scale. Royal Blue, the most coveted designation in Sapphire, describes a tone that is saturated without heaviness, vivid without drama. At 13 carats in an Emerald cut, every facet is exposed. There is nowhere to hide and nothing to hide.
The four-claw setting in hallmarked Platinum holds the stone at each corner with the minimum of interruption. The shank tapers elegantly toward the back, keeping the weight of the piece exactly where it belongs — on the stone.
Each ring is made individually, sized to the wearer, and assessed by a GIA and Gem-A qualified jeweller. Authentication and valuation documentation are included as standard.
